FEB 2024 / Featured Artist: Tara Kunicki

ON VIEW FEB 1 - MAR 1, 2024

Tara Kunicki was born in Queens, NY, and currently resides on the North Fork of Long Island. Within the past year, she has become more diligent in her creative practice and has progressed in her talent and ability. She attributes this to her recent relocation and feelings of loneliness in a new town. Creating art was fulfilling and made her feel connected to her surroundings which included the open spaces of farmland, forest, and beach of rural North Fork.

Recently, she has been inspired by themes of spirituality, femininity, and nature. She mainly works with acrylics, yet loves experimenting with new materials, and she aims to try new media in the coming year. Tara has created artwork for many local musicians and has had her work featured on many music streaming platforms. Most recently, she was the featured artist for the December 2023 Issue of “The Scene” magazine. Her artwork can be viewed online on her Instagram @the_calmartist

See her work in person beginning February 1, and meet her during the reception on Sunday, Feb. 11, 12-2pm.
