FEB 2024 / IAC Invited to LI Beauty Ball

Islip Arts Council was invited to showcase the "LIMITLESS: Healing Cancer with Art" exhibition at this year's 7th Annual Long Island Beauty Ball, February 5, at the Heritage Club at Bethpage, 99 Quaker Meeting House Road, Farmingdale, NY, which will benefit Mondays at Racine's Cancer Care initiative. "LIMITLESS" art will be available for sale at the event throughout the evening.

This opportunity is the result of an earlier partnership with Mondays at Racine Cancer Care that included the people who are struggling/surviving cancer and using art as a coping mechanism. The art IAC exhibited expressed the experience of the disease or where the process of art making had taken these artists.

"LIMITLESS" was made possible by a grant from SCOCA and with the support of SUFFOLK CREDIT UNION, as part of the IAC “Art with a Purpose” Series of Exhibitions.
