This year's theme for Women's History Month, according to National Women's History Alliance (NWHA), is "Moving Forward Together: Women Educating & Inspiring Generations." This theme celebrates the collective strength, equality, and influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership, shaping the minds and futures of all generations.

The focus of this call asks women in all sectors of life to demonstrate the importance of educating our future generations through empowerment, courage, and solidarity. In other words, "Move Forward Together" with a strategy that's safe, equal, and inclusive for our diverse society.

All media will be considered. Works must not exceed 70x70 inches and must be ready to hang or be displayed on a pedestal.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
Artists may submit up to 3 works in .jpg format through our GOOGLE ENTRY FORM FOUND HERE. All work MUST be wired and ready to hang. No work previously shown at the Gallery will be accepted.

DELIVERY & PICK-UP OF WORK
Accepted artists may drop off Mar 4 & 5, 2025, from 11am-4pm.
Artists will pick up their work on April 1-5, 2025 11am-4pm.

IF DROP OFF OR PICK UP dates do not work for artists, special arrangements must be made prior to drop off by calling 631-888-3525.

Any work left by the artist at the Gallery beyond the assigned pick-up date will be charged a warehousing fee of $2.00 per day. A 25% donation from sold artwork will be accepted by Islip Arts Council.

Submitted work is juried for acceptance by the Guest Curator for Islip Arts Council, and all decisions are final. Submitting a work of art implies agreement on the part of the artist with all conditions set forth in this prospectus. IAC will take reasonable care of submitted works but are not responsible for any loss or damage to said work.
