The Islip Arts Council (IAC) Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Linda Weingarten as our new Director of Operations—a homecoming for Linda, who served as Assistant Executive Director and Program Assistant at IAC from 2015 to 2020.
Linda is a dynamic, community-focused arts professional whose blend of creative vision, hands-on problem-solving, and strategic leadership has inspired audiences and artists alike. She has a proven track record of curating meaningful programs, fostering strong community partnerships, and using the arts to spark imagination and connection. Known for turning ideas into action, Linda brings both energy and expertise to her role.
Working alongside Executive Director Lynda Moran, Linda will help advance IAC’s mission to support all the arts and all the artists in our community. Her background as an art educator and creative entrepreneur will be invaluable as we develop innovative programs and expand our reach.
