In honor of Jewish heritage, Islip Arts Council  encourages artists of Jewish descent to exhibit artwork that reflects, celebrates, or is inspired by their culture, traditions, lived experiences, artistic voice, or pieces they feel proud to share. Whether traditional, modern, personal, or experimental, the IAC invites work that represents the Jewish Experience.

Artists of all ages are invited to participate, and all 2D and 3D media will be considered.

A Note on Respectful Engagement
Artists interpreting cultural or historical themes are asked to approach the subject with authenticity, sensitivity, and respect. Works that rely on stereotypes or cultural appropriation will not be considered.

SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
Artists may submit up to 3 works in .jpg format through our Google form aboveAll work MUST be wired and ready to hang. No work previously shown at the Gallery will be accepted.

ENTRY FEE $25 members / $35 non-members

ENTRY DEADLINE Mar 27, 2026, 11:59pm

ARTIST NOTIFICATION Mar 28, end of business day.

DELIVERY & PICK-UP OF WORK
Accepted artists may deliver on Mar 31, from 11am-4pm.
Artists will pick up their work on Apr xx, 11am-4pm.

IF DROP OFF OR PICK UP dates do not work for artists, special arrangements must be made prior to delivery by calling 631-888-3525.

Any work left by the artist at the Gallery beyond the assigned pick-up date will be charged a warehousing fee of $2.00 per day. A 25% donation from sold artwork will be accepted by Islip Arts Council.

Submitted work is juried for acceptance by the Curatorial Team of Islip Arts Council, and all decisions are final. Submitting a work of art implies agreement on the part of the artist with all conditions set forth in this prospectus. IAC will take reasonable care of submitted works but are not responsible for any loss or damage to said work.
