MAY 2025 / IAC Executive Director Lynda Moran Nominated for Suffolk County Senior of the Year Award

Islip Arts Council and The Suffolk County Office for the Aging are pleased to announce that Lynda A. Moran, the Executive Director of IAC has been nominated for the 2025 SENIOR OF THE YEAR AWARD. This award recognizes a senior citizen who has enhanced the lives of older residents in Suffolk County.

The achievements of all nominees will be recognized at an afternoon reception on May 15, 2025 at 2pm in the lobby of the H. Lee Dennison Building, 100 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge, NY.

The person chosen as Suffolk County’s Senior of the Year will also be recognized by the New York State Office for Aging as part of its Older New Yorker’s Celebration in Albany.
