MAR 2025 / Women's History Month Exhibition

MAR 2025 / Women's History Month Exhibition

Exhibition: Mar 8 - 31, 2025
Reception: Mar 14 / 5-7pm

This year's theme for Women's History Month, according to National Women's History Alliance (NWHA), is "Moving Forward Together: Women Educating & Inspiring Generations." This theme celebrates the collective strength, equality, and influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership, shaping the minds and futures of all generations.

Islip Arts Council asked women in all sectors of life to demonstrate the importance of educating our future generations through empowerment, courage, and solidarity. In other words, "Move Forward Together" with a strategy that's safe, equal, and inclusive for our diverse society.
